Review of Hot 97

Hot 97 is the premiere hip hop radio station that epitomizes New York Hip Hop culture. It features a mix of current R&B and Hip Hop music and well known personalities who represent the culture like Funkmaster Flex and Angie Martinez. It is a must listen to any hip hop and R&B lover.

The show is a reality series that focuses on the staff of New York’s famous Hip Hop radio station. The show’s running gags and quirky moments make for a lighthearted television experience. The cast seems surprisingly comedic and the show is enjoyable to watch, especially for fans of the station’s off-mic antics.

Despite being a reality show, the show tries to avoid taking itself too seriously. This is something that hip hop fans will appreciate, and it is also something that will attract viewers who are not hip hop lovers. However, it is important to note that this is a television show, and it does not always succeed in avoiding being taken too seriously.

In the beginning of the show, we are introduced to the staff and their daily lives at the station. There are some humorous bits that appear on the screen, but most of the sketches stay on topic with routine daily business. This is fine for fans of the station, as they are used to these types of bits from the radio.

There are a few things that could have made this show better. For one, it would be nice to see a few more guest appearances on the show. Seeing some of the artists that work on the show play a few songs for the audience could be a cool addition to the show. The only problem with this is that it could be annoying to the audience if the guests on the show aren’t popular enough for a few of them to know.

The first hour of the show is filled with a lot of hip hop hits that everyone will recognize. This is great for the people who are listening to the show in the area where it airs, but for people who aren’t from New York, this mix may not be as impressive. However, if you are a fan of Dilla and his production style this is a good mix to hear.

The other hour is much slower. It starts off with an old school song and then moves into more recent hits that everyone will recognize. Towards the end of the hour, the DJ plays a few songs that are more familiar to those outside of New York, but this is not a bad thing at all. Overall, this is a good mix and the only negative thing I have to say about it is that the songs didn’t seem to flow as well as they could have. This may have been a result of the limited amount of time that the DJ had to create this mix. hot 97
